Flock of Beagles is a Denver-based '80s tribute band founded in 2003 by three long-time friends with a shared passion for the synth pop, new wave and post-punk music from an era when an iPod was called a Walkman and a "shuffle" was a mix of 10 songs on a cassette tape thoughtfully crafted to impress a girl.
We blend the music of the decade's most acclaimed bands (The Cure, The Smiths, New Order, and Depeche Mode to name a few) with the indelible one-hit wonders (remember Tommy Tutone and Men Without Hats?) to create a high energy show that fills the dance floor. We dress to the era and perform the songs using authentic, live instrumentation and a high-end pro sound system with full LED light show.
Over the years, we have provided entertainment for everything from weddings, birthday parties and class reunions to upscale corporate events, fundraisers and public festivals, including headlining performances at the popular Art & Ale Festival and Denver's Oktobefest. We are also available for pool parties, pedicures, manicures, oral surgeries, auto auctions, christenings, be-headings, rocket launches, zoo cage cleanings, pet walkings, uranium transfers, and snowball fights.
You don't need a Delorean with a Flux Capacitor to get back to 1985. You just need to check out a Flock of Beagles, the official Denver area '80s tribute band of the Miyagi Know Karate Dojo. By the power of Greyskull, you will not regret it!
